Good news for hens around the world! By 2025, more than 85 food companies will have stopped selling eggs from caged hens. This change freed nearly 17 million hens from crowded cages – they now live
in the open where they can flap around. The movement started in 2008 and was led by an animal welfare group called Project 1882. What’s amazing is that this change didn’t happen because of a law but because people asked for it.
