*ANOTHER FEATHER IN THE CAP FOR HOLY SPIRIT INSTITUTE, MARGAO*

After the Kristu Jayanti Excellence Award 2024, Holy Spirit Institute, Margao has once again brought laurels to Goa.

At the _Brandscouncil Ratings International Awards for Educational Excellence 2026_, held on 23rd May 2026 at the Deputy Speaker Hall, Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, the school was conferred two prestigious awards:

Top 100 Impactful Education Leaders 2026_ – awarded to Headmistress Mrs. Esmeralda Mendes e Fernandes for her innovative best practices and collaborative leadership.

Best Educational Organization of the Year 2026_ – awarded to Holy Spirit Institute for implementing and incorporating the UN Sustainable Development Goals in its activities.

In her acceptance, Mrs. Fernandes attributed her success to God, the DSE Management, and in a special way to Manager Rev. Fr. Amandio Valadares for his constant motivation. She also thanked the staff, Alumni , benefactors ,PTA, and her family — especially her mother, her pillar of strength, along with her father, her husband, siblings and children, — for their unwavering support.

Speaking after the ceremony, Mrs. Fernandes said:

_“I am not seeking an award for our institution and myself, but a spotlight on the collective work of Goa’s aided schools that serve with limited resources but unlimited commitment. If this recognition inspires one more educator to innovate and believe, then the purpose is served.”_

The Manager, PTA, staff, and students have congratulated Mrs. Fernandes, who continues to work tirelessly towards Rev. Fr. Amandio Valadares’ dream of making Holy Spirit Institute, Margao, one of the best institutions in the world.
