Vidyaprasarak High School, Morjim celebrated the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on February 19 2026.
The celebration began with a festive procession inaugurated by Shri Vilas Morje, Sarpanch of Morjim Village Panchayat, in the presence of Headmaster Shri Dilip N. Methar, the PTA President, and staff members.
Students dressed in white kurtas and girls wore traditional Nauvari. A flower-decorated vehicle carried students dressed as Shivaji Maharaj, Rajmata Jijabai, young Sambhaji Maharaj and Maratha soldiers went on a procession which the local women welcomed with tilak rituals.
