📬 LETTER TO THE EDITOR – 2

Dear Editor,

We did not like your recent article about sanitary pads. We feel such topics should not be read aloud to children.

Dear Concerned Parent,

Thank you for writing in. Conversations begin with courage — and you have shown that.

We published the article because the Supreme Court of India has recognised menstrual hygiene as a right for schoolgirls. This is not gossip. It is health. It is dignity. It is education.

Menstruation is a natural biological process — not a taboo topic. When we speak about it calmly and factually, we remove shame and replace it with understanding.

In fact, it is equally important for boys to learn about it. When children grow up informed, they grow up respectful.

Silence creates stigma. Knowledge creates confidence.

Our aim is simple: no child should feel embarrassed about something that is completely natural.

With respect,

The Editor
