Every year, the government makes a big plan called the Budget.

It decides what things will cost more, what will cost less, and how money will be spent.

Here’s what changed this time 👇

📈 Things That May Cost MORE

🔺 Cigarettes & tobacco products
→ The government increased taxes
→ This is done to discourage unhealthy habits

🔺 Share market trading (options & futures)
→ People who trade daily will pay a little more tax per trade

👉 Good to know:
These are not everyday children’s items, so families may not feel this much.

📉 Things That May Cost LESS (or feel easier on the pocket)

🟢 Some medicines (especially cancer medicines)
→ Lower taxes mean treatment becomes cheaper

🟢 Some electronic items
→ Like phones, TVs, and gadgets (price drop depends on brand)

🟢 Electric vehicles (EVs)
→ Government wants more people to use clean transport
→ So EVs may slowly become more affordable

🟢 Sending money abroad for education or medical treatment
→ Families will pay less tax when sending money for studies or health

😌 Things That Did NOT Change

✅ Income tax slabs stayed the same
→ Parents won’t pay extra tax just because of the Budget

✅ School fees, notebooks, uniforms
→ No direct increase announced
