- For those of you in Goa who began this receding academic year 2025-2026 in April, know the drill. Those who dont, its time to be aware and pull up your socks as after your exams, in April your new academic year 2026-2027 will begin. Its decided for you and no matter the excuse of heat, its the new normal. The principal of St Anthony High School Majorda, Laura Braganza while speaking to us told us that last year many parents across Goa did not want schools to start in April, due to the extreme heat. This time however they look forward to assistance from the government in this regard.
