“Australia Says: Log Out, Little Ones!”

Australia has made a new rule. From 10 December 2025, little children under 16 cannot make their own accounts on apps like Instagram, TikTok or Facebook. This rule is to keep kids safe from online bullying and strangers who may not have good intentions. Children may still be able to look at some posts, but they won’t be allowed to comment, message or share things like before. This means the internet will feel a little different for many kids, and adults will help them use it safely. It can also inspire stories about being smart online, following age rules, and staying safe.
