Hello everyone, I am Shivansh Shanbhag from Manovikas School and I am going to tell you all how I developed the habit of reading books.
It all happened when 3 years ago when my aunt gave me Enid Blyton and Tinkle books. When I started reading them I was fascinated and I started to collect more books.
Recently when I had a leg injury due to which I had to stay at home for 2 months on the bed and got bored of doing nothing, reading books was the only option. oMy father who is my superhero bought new books for me and I started to read them the whole day.I didn’t waste a single minute doing anything else except reading. The pictures, the characters and the stories in the books not only take you to your own imaginary world but also help you improve your vocabulary.
I also borrowed books from my school library. I actually have a small library at my
in which I have two signature books. One of Sudha Murty’s and another one of A.P.J. Abdul kalam. home consisting of 56 books
Practical tips are:
Don’t spend money on unnecessary things instead buy books.
Concentrate while reading.
Borrow from family, books friends, relatives, libraries etc. but don’t forget to return them in good condition.

Read for about 15 to 20 minutes every day before you go to bed, by doing that you might get some wonderful dreams.
