Krav Maga is a system of self-defense originated from the military to give the soldier the tools to solve close combat fighting on the battle field. The civilian version of Krav Maga teaches the practitioner to deal with problems faced in day-to-day lives; be it on the street, while traveling in a car or bus and even in confined spaces. It includes striking vulnerable areas on the body and using every day carry objects as a tool to defend oneself. Krav Maga also has specific techniques for women and children to protect themselves at different stages of the attack. Krav Maga for Kids is not the same as Krav Maga for Adults. Kids and Teens face different problems than adults, which are often related to subjects like bullying, developing motor skills, confidence, and daring to speak up. With violence on the rise and bullying becoming more common, both the educational system and parents face difficulties in handling violence directed at the children. It is essential that young people acquire skills, abilities, techniques, and tactics to cope with any unexpected confrontation inflicted on them. Krav Maga trainings for children covers all aspects of Self-Defense from the Physical and Technical aspects, to the educational aspect. Most importantly, Krav Maga builds confidence and self-respect within the child. The goal is to promote Awareness, Confidence, and Discipline in the child. The training covers dealing with Anti-bullying, stranger danger, Awareness and avoidance, Conflict resolukills and the ability to take care of themselves. Krav Maga is designed to be easy to learn and immediately apply, especially for children

Here are a few moves for
children
1. Be assertive and with a loud
voice shout “STOP!” or “GO
AWAY!”

2. Strike hard and fast at
vulnerable areas on the
attacker’s body

3. Yell and Scream as loudly as
possible; this will startle the
attacker and alert bystanders
of the situation.

4. Attract attention to
bystanders by shouting and
screaming or using devices to
get help.

5. Escape and run to a safe
area.
